Blade Type

Rotary Type
When huge amount of pleats are required to be produced on material then rotary type pleating machine is used. Generally it is used where a particular filter size and pleat dept is required. Pleating rollers can be set to produce pleats of different sizes. And also different sizes of rollers can be used to create different pleats. Variety of designs like dimple, pleat lock, zig zag etc can be created by this pleating machine.
Push-up
Push up pleating machine are used to create controlled and non-repeating pleated patterns in all material. It consists of drum. The drum has numerous distinct rows on its circumference. The rows contain pins and these work on push up rods. With push up pleating machine repeating patterns are created and if you need to have modified pattern then you will have to rearrange the pins. The removal and rearrangement of pins is quiet expensive and laborious work so it is not recommended.
