Those who are fond of skating or desperately want to learn few skating tricks must be aware how important the Skateboarding ramps are.
Presenting here are few tips to identify the various types of skateboard ramps:

Pipe Ramps

One can identify the pipe ramps by seeing the flat bottoms reaching to concave ramps. Pipes are in varied sizes like half pipe and quarter pipe. A concave pipe is one which moves shoots from the ground in a smooth lip.




Vert Ramps

Mini-ramps and vert ramps can be distinguished with their heights, generally vert ramps are higher than 6 feet while mini-ramps are always shorter than 6 feet.




Street Ramps

Street ramps are ones which have ramps sprouting from different angles and that too with varied inclinations. At times these street skateboards also include obstacles like walls or grind poles for stunts.




Grind Boxes

Grind boxes have gradual inclinations on either sides of the plateau. It has a ledge or ground poll mounted on the center of the plateau. These are generally low heighten with less than 4 feet of height.
