The Problem of Noise
If your hydraulic cylinder is making excessive amount of noise or a kind of noise which is rather unnatural as per the regular sounds, then
the first thing to do is to switch off the device. Make sure that the inlet line is cleaned properly in case of a noisy pump. The dirty filters too call for immediate replacement. Moreover, all the fluids have to be available in correct amount and the worn out fluids have to be replaced.
Another reason for a noisy device is the presence of air within the system. Hence, make sure that you bleed all the air out from the system and tighten the corrections which might be leaking. At times when the machinery is not put to use for a long period of time, the fluid within it tends to cool down and thus, create abnormal noises. For this, you need to let the machine warm up so that it sets back on its normal operational track sans noises.
