Manual Machines

Manual ice cream making machine consist of an outer bowl and a smaller inner bowl. A device known as a dasher is used to stir the mixture. Freezing mixture of salt and ice is brimmed in the outer bowl. Though this machine is cheap but it is sloppy and inconvenient also because the mixture produces lot of salty water. This salty water should be disposed of so that the new batch of ice cream can be made.

Electric Machines

Electric ice cream machines are available in three types. Each ice cream making machine has an electric motor. This electric motor stirs the mixture by driving the bowl or the paddle. Though all three types of electric ice cream making machines are similar but the only difference is their cooling level. The three types of electric machines are :

• Counter-top machines

• Small freezer-unit machines

• Large machines

Vending Machines

Vending machine are the most convenient form of ice cream machine which enables to take the ice cream directly from the machine, by just pressing a button. This type of vending machine has a internal freezer, motor, ice cream picker, blower as main parts. The machine provides ice cream as soon as a coin is inserted into it.
