Crushers : Types and industrial use

Crusher is a device which is used for cutting large rocks into smaller size. It not only reduces the size of rocks but also helps in disposing or recycling the waste materials by changing its form. Crushing is basically a process of separating different solid raw materials that are bonded together. Apart from Glass Crusher, Stone Crusher, Rock Crusher, and Mineral Crusher different types of crushers are
  • Jaw crusher :- It includes a set of vertical jaws, in which one is fixed and the other moves back and forth
  • Gyratory crusher :- It consists of a concave surface and a conical head. It is mainly used in mining or an ore processing plant.
  • Cone crusher :- A cone crusher has a less steep crushing chamber and has parallel crushing zone. It squeezes the rock and breaks it.
  • Impact crusher :- They use impact rather than pressure to break any material. Bottom, end or side has openings, and the material is stored within a cage. Generally coal, seeds, limestone, gypsum or soft metallic ores use impact crusher.
In various industries crushers use a metal surface to divide or destroy materials. Primary and secondary crushers are used in mining industry to break the material into finer gradation. Crushers used in road construction are mobile and have the ability to crush rocks, concrete and asphalt into material. To know in brief about different crushers and industrial use read here..
