Rubber floor tiles are the anti-static surfaces that are ideal for offices, homes, computer rooms etc. Though it calls for a little extra care as maintenance.
Following are few tips which can be useful in maintaining the tiles.
- Rubber tiles can look freshly waxed wiping them off with a solution of 1 cup fabric softener and half pail of water.
- The fastest way to clean a rubber tile floor is by cleaning it with an all purpose cleaning solution. Make sure that you go through the entire product label for precautionary measures and also test it in a small corner prior to using it on the entire floor.
- Get rid of the heel marks from the rubber tile by dipping fine grade steel wool within liquid floor wax. Also follow this stripping by two thin coats of self polishing wax. Floor should be dried between the coats.
- Do not flood the floor with water as excessive water can loosen the adhesives that hold down the flooring.
