Assembly line heating process is used to pack a product in hard plastic and then sealed. Blister packaging may be of so many different types but all its varieties work on same principle. The size of blister packs is not restricted, in fact they can be of any size. The size may vary from small to big or large, depending upon the product. 

There is one most user-friendly form of blister packaging which is found in single-dose strips of both over-the-counter (OTC) & prescription pharmaceuticals. They are called user-friendly because they can be opened easily without too much ripping, tearing or cutting.
