Roller printing is a form of textile printing, also known as cylinder printing or machine printing, which is done with the help of rollers. Roller prints are generally identified as striped motifs and small dotted patterns(also called machine grounds). With the advancement in technology, roller prints are also been done in bright, rich hues. In 19th century, roller printing has come up as a perfect replacement for woodblock printing. A roller printing machine includes a powerful iron cylinder affixed in flexible bearings. These bearings easily slide up and down along the side of the firm iron framework.
