
1. The carpet or rug should be vacuum twice a week. The vacuuming should
be against the grain of the weaving. Vacuum upside down the same way.
2. You should avoid spill over the rug, if so then blot it immediately with cloth
absorbent. If required change the cloth until the moisture is removed
properly.
3. For stains, you can dampen a piece of cloth with club soda and blot the spot
and dry it with a blower.
4. If the rug is wet, keep in front of a fan to dry. This even avoids growing of
mold and mildew.
5. Use a spray protector specially made for jute and grass rugs to prevent
moisture absorption if you live in a high-humidity area.
